Description
11x11x28 A Neoclassical style Ionic column pedestal, likely constructed of cast stone or a composite resin material. The pedestal features a square top with concave sides situated above a molded capital decorated with characteristic scrollwork volutes and central floral rosettes. The tapered shaft is vertically fluted, terminating in a tiered base with a prominent rope-twist molding resting upon a square plinth. The piece has an off-white, matte finish with an applied aged patina and visible surface soiling. No permanent maker’s marks or signatures are discernible on the body of the item.
