A group of vintage sheet music folios and instructional books primarily for the piano, spanning the late 19th through the mid-20th centuries. The collection features several volumes from Schirmer’s Library of Musical Classics, published by G. Schirmer, New York, including Vol. 40 Clementi: Sonatinas (design copyright 1908), Vol. 161 Czerny: The School of Velocity, Op. 299 (copyright 1893, revised and fingered by Max Vogrich), and Vol. 149 Czerny: Forty Daily Exercises, Op. 337 (design copyright 1902). Instructional materials include First Year at the Piano by John M. Williams, published by Theodore Presser Co., and multiple lessons from The Melody Way Home Study Course by W. Otto Miessner, published by the Miessner Institute of Music, Milwaukee. The collection is well-represented by the works of Irving Berlin, including multiple editions of God Bless America (one referencing the 1938 Kate Smith performance), To Be Forgotten, When My Dreams Come True, and the Universal Dance Folio for Piano No. 11. Other notable pieces include Beethoven’s Minuet in G published by The Standard Music Publishing Co., Philadelphia; Piano Compositions by Russian Composers (G.
