Lot 156:
Description
45 in long This vintage four-pelt fur stole, likely mink, dates to the mid-20th century, circa 1940s to 1950s. The garment is composed of four complete animal pelts joined in a cascading tiered design. It features one primary pelt at the top with three secondary pelts attached below. The pelts include taxidermy details, such as heads with small black glass eyes and artificial noses, along with original paws and tails. The fur is a natural reddish-brown color with a soft texture and a visible sheen. For fastening, the stole utilizes concealed metal spring-action clamps located beneath the head sections. No original manufacturer or designer labels are present.
