Description
20 inches. This is a vintage pressed steel toy dump truck produced by Buddy L, specifically the Hydraulic Dumper model. The vehicle features a green cab and chassis with a cream-colored dump bed. It is equipped with a functional manual hydraulic-action dumping mechanism, which includes a gold-tone metal cylinder and a side-mounted operating lever. The truck sits on six black rubber tires. A large green and white decal on the sides of the dump bed reads Hydraulic Buddy L Dumper. The front grille is embossed with the letters Buddy L. Further manufacturer markings appear on the tires, which are embossed with Buddy L Toys and East Moline Illinois. The tailgate is top-hinged to allow for the release of materials when the bed is raised.
