Lot 75:
Description
This lot features a professional taxidermy shoulder mount of a Wild Boar (Sus scrofa), a specimen frequently referred to in the trade as a Russian Boar. The mount is posed in an aggressive, open-mouth expression. The pelt displays the characteristic coarse, dark brown to black bristles of a mature boar. The mouth is detailed with an artificial tongue and palate, flanked by a set of prominent upper and lower tusks. The specimen is designed for wall display with a flat, finished back. A white inventory tag is attached to the lower tusk, but no legible writing is visible. No maker marks or taxidermist labels are present on the exterior of the mount.
