84×92. Some fading on the green color. A vintage hand-stitched patchwork quilt featuring a medallion layout with a central star motif. The central star is constructed of sage green and white fabrics, surrounded by several smaller Sawtooth Star blocks, also known as Variable Stars. The quilt utilizes three primary fabrics: a solid sage green cotton, a solid white cotton, and a vintage-style floral print featuring aqua blue roses on a white ground. The piece exhibits extensive decorative hand-quilting throughout. The white ground panels feature hand-stitched scrolled and feathered motifs, while the borders and colored patchwork blocks are finished with a traditional diagonal grid cross-hatch pattern. The quilt is finished with a thin aqua blue inner border and a wide sage green outer border. The reverse side is a solid sage green fabric. Dimensions not provided.
