Description
10.5×6. This has been repaired. This Ertl Foxfire Farm figurine, titled Easy Pickin’s and created by artist Lowell Davis, depicts a detailed rural farm scene. The hand-painted diorama, likely constructed from cold-cast resin, features a male farmer in denim overalls and a hat operating a red and yellow Champion Corn Sheller marked OMAHA. The figure is shown using a shovel to feed ears of corn into the machine. The scene is populated with several chickens and a rooster perched atop the sheller mechanism. The textured base represents a farmyard floor covered in corn husks and debris. The title Easy Pickin’s is incised on the front vertical edge of the base, and the artist’s signature LOWELL DAVIS is incised on the top surface of the base behind the farmer. This piece is part of the Foxfire Farm series produced by Ertl.
