Lot 481:
Description
14.5 in. This cased satin glass vase features a white interior layer and a matte-finished exterior. The body is decorated with a hand-painted floral spray of three blooming roses in red, pink, and white tones, accompanied by green foliage and a small bud near the shoulder. The vessel exhibits a three-color gradient, transitioning from a deep pink or magenta at the rim to a cream midsection and finishing with a light green base. The reverse side remains undecorated, showcasing the color transition. The vase has a tapered body that widens to high, rounded shoulders before narrowing to a short neck with a slightly flared, finished rim. A small, aged paper label is affixed to the base with handwritten notations that read #H2, No. 7073, and Dec. 2.
