Description
This is a Margarete Steiff Puppe collection doll named Andrea, manufactured by Steiff in Germany. The doll is constructed with a head and limbs of matte-finished vinyl composition material on a weighted soft body. The face features hand-painted freckles and light red lips, with fixed glass or acrylic eyes. The doll has long, wavy reddish-brown hair. It is dressed in its original multi-piece outfit consisting of a green knit turtleneck sweater, a brown corduroy pinafore-style jumper with two wooden buttons, and a matching brown corduroy beret. Accessories include a brown leather-like crossbody satchel and a small gold-toned metal Steiff bear pin attached to the left strap of the jumper. The doll retains its original yellow circular chest tag printed with the name Andrea and the red Steiff logo. The item is presented in its original manufacturer’s display box, which features the red Margarete Steiff Puppe ribbon graphic and standard Steiff branding. Height: Approximately 19-20 inches.
