Description
This mechanical indoor golf game, titled Pro Shot Golf, was manufactured by Louis Marx and Company. The set features a primary Shotmaker club designed to simulate a golf swing through a manual trigger mechanism located on the handle. The club is constructed with a metal shaft and a wooden grip handle. Attached to the base of the shaft is a painted plastic figurine of a golfer dressed in a red sweater and tan trousers. The game includes a green foam mat designed to represent a golf course green. The original illustrated cardboard box is included, which identifies the manufacturer as Marx and lists the various components of the full set, including mini clubs, tee markers, hazards, and a course layout. The box graphics reflect typical 1960s advertising illustration styles.
