Description
This figural ashtray is composed of cast iron and features a patriotic American motif. The piece consists of a triangular base with raised borders and three rounded notches at the corners designed as cigarette rests. Bolted to the rear of the tray is a decorative upright element depicting an American bald eagle with outspread wings, perched upon a United States shield. The shield displays a field of stars above vertical stripes, resting on a draped scroll. The entire piece is finished in a dark, aged patina. The underside reveals the casting texture, two integral support feet at the rear corners, and a central screw head that secures the figural component to the base.
