Description
A collection of US Lincoln Wheat Cents dating from 1954 to 1956. This group contains bronze one-cent coins from both the Philadelphia (no mint mark) and Denver (D) Mints. Each coin is individually presented in a white cardboard 2×2 flip featuring handwritten year and mint mark notations in blue ink. The obverse depicts the Victor David Brenner portrait of Abraham Lincoln, while the reverse features the Wheat Cent design with two wheat ears flanking the denomination. The collection includes various dates and mint marks including 1954, 1954-D, 1955, 1955-D, 1956, and 1956-D. One holder labeled 1956 is currently vacant and one 1955 specimen is misaligned within its flip. Diameter: 19.05 mm Weight: 3.11 grams Composition: Bronze (95 percent copper, 5 percent tin and zinc).
