Description
11×6 This two-piece set features a hand-painted cased art glass bowl resting on an adjustable decorative metal stand. The bowl is constructed with a vibrant turquoise-blue interior and a white opalescent exterior, featuring a deeply ruffled and crimped rim. The interior is decorated with hand-painted enamel floral motifs, including lavender roses, clusters of yellow blossoms, and green foliage connected by delicate white trailing vines. The bowl sits on a four-armed adjustable metal stand with a silver-toned finish. The central hub of the stand consists of a circular medallion featuring a relief-cast classical face. Each of the four legs is designed with a stylized dolphin-head foot, while the supports for the bowl are shaped like shells or fans. The arms are adjustable in length and are secured with small metal thumb screws. The underside of the central medallion bears a stamped mark that reads: MADE IN ITALY EXCLUSIVELY FOR BONWIT TELLER. A handwritten paper label is present on the interior of the bowl.
