Description
8 inches. This horse-drawn ice delivery wagon still bank is constructed of cast iron. The wagon features a two-part body joined at a central seam, which includes a coin slot integrated into the arched roof. Both side panels of the wagon display the word ICE in raised, embossed lettering. The vehicle is pulled by a single horse depicted in a walking pose, mounted to a chassis with four spoked wheels. The front wheels are smaller in diameter than the rear wheels. The design and construction are consistent with early 20th-century models attributed to American manufacturers Kenton Hardware or A.C. Williams. Length: 7 inches (approximate).
