Description
This lot features one 45in fabric remnant and one curtain with distinct botanical and floral designs. The first textile is a heavy-weight material with a textured surface characteristic of mid-century barkcloth, composed of a cotton or linen blend. The pattern is a large-scale botanical print featuring stylized bowl-shaped flowers, resembling Protea, in shades of pink and burgundy with yellow-dotted centers. The motif includes large green leaves with white veining and feathery gray and purple foliage on a neutral beige ground. A printed selvage on this piece is marked SCHUMACHER and WASHABLE. The second textile is a medium to heavy-weight fabric with a visible slubbed weave, featuring a classic floral print of large pink multi-petaled blossoms, pomegranate-style fruit, and small teal flowers on a textured gray ground.
