Description
68 x 72 This vintage American patchwork quilt features a repeating block pattern in a diagonal Nine-Patch variation. The piece is constructed using a variety of cotton scrap fabrics, including solid cottons, ginghams, and small-scale floral calico prints. The blocks are organized into rows separated by wide horizontal sashing strips of varying patterned fabrics, including brown-and-white gingham and various floral motifs in yellow, blue, and red tones. The entire quilt is hand-stitched with a fan or shell quilting pattern. The reverse side consists of a solid pink cotton fabric.
