Description
74 x 76 A handmade patchwork quilt top from the mid-20th century, constructed from various printed cotton fabrics. The piece is assembled in a concentric square or modified log cabin pattern. A prominent square features novelty print fabric depicting licensed Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto in various poses. The surrounding patchwork consists of a diverse range of textiles such as floral sprigs, polka dots, stripes, ginghams, and solid colors. A border of green and white shamrock-patterned fabric is attached to two sides. This item is an unfinished quilt top, featuring raw, frayed edges and exposed seam allowances on the reverse side. It lacks batting, backing, and quilting stitches.
