Description
64 x 72 This handmade patchwork quilt features a horizontal staggered strip or brick pattern. The front is composed of rectangular fabric blocks in a color palette of mint green, sage, pale yellow, and white. These sections are accented by a multi-colored striped fabric containing vertical bands of black, red, green, and white. The individual fabric pieces exhibit various textures and weaves. The reverse side of the quilt features a light blue ground with small white polka dots and a printed floral pattern of white daisies with yellow centers and green foliage. The construction includes machine-stitched horizontal channel quilting that follows the lines of the patchwork strips. The quilt is finished with a thin white fabric binding around the perimeter.
