Description
80 x 92 A vintage unfinished quilt top featuring a repeated star pattern, hand-pieced from solid teal-green cotton and a paisley-printed cotton with a palette of pink, red, yellow, and green. The blocks are set into a cream-colored or off-white cotton ground. Each decorative block consists of a central teal diamond surrounded by four paisley panels and four teal-colored points. The blocks are joined by wide vertical and horizontal cream cotton sashing strips. This item is an unfinished top, consisting only of the pieced decorative layer without batting or backing. Visible running stitches on the reverse side confirm hand-sewn construction.
