Description
This lot includes three pieces of vintage ovenware produced by Pyrex (Corning Glass Works). The group features one rectangular 1.5-quart refrigerator dish, model 503, made of white opal glass with a solid yellow fired-on exterior color. The base of the dish is embossed with a circular mark containing the brand name, Ovenware, Made in U.S.A., and the model number 503. Also included are two clear tempered glass lids decorated with the Friendship pattern, which consists of stylized bird and floral motifs screen-printed in red, orange, and yellow. The larger round lid is marked 474-C on the handle, corresponding to a 1.5-quart round casserole dish. The smaller round lid is marked 623-C, designed for a 1-quart round casserole dish.
