Description
This lot consists of a large collection of glass marbles of various styles, colors, and sizes, contained within a clear plastic storage bin. The assortment includes standard player-sized marbles and larger shooters. Visible styles within the collection include cat’s eyes, swirls, patches, clears, and solid-colored opaques. Under UV light, multiple marbles exhibit a bright green fluorescence, indicating the presence of uranium glass. The lot is unattributed to a single manufacturer but likely contains examples from American machine-made marble companies such as Akro Agate, Vitro Agate, Peltier, and Marble King. A small internal auction house identification tag marked LOT # 24 is included in the bin.
