Description
This cylindrical earthenware jardiniere is a product of Weller Pottery, Zanesville, Ohio, featuring the Clinton Ivory pattern. The exterior displays a continuous relief-molded woodland scene, with a pair of swans on water as the primary focal point, surrounded by dense trees and foliage. The piece is finished in a cream-colored glaze with wiped brown highlights that accentuate the depth of the embossed decoration. The base is marked with a blue ink stamp featuring the words WELLER POTTERY arched over a central dome-shaped motif.
