Description
This collection consists of vintage non-sport trading cards from the mid-1960s, primarily featuring television programs and personalities. A significant portion of the lot includes cards from the 1967 The Monkees set, which bear the copyright line 1967 Raybert Prod. Inc. TM of Screen Gems, Inc. and include the instructional text Collect All 44 Cards. Specific identified cards from this series include number 10A (group shot), number 14A (the Monkeemobile), and number 30A (Peter Tork). The collection also contains numerous cards from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. series, featuring actors Robert Vaughn as Napoleon Solo and David McCallum as Illya Kuryakin. Several of these cards feature printed facsimile signatures for Robert Vaughn. Also present are action-oriented cards likely from the same television sets, including a photographic card of a diver and a shark. The cards are printed on standard period cardstock and include both color and black-and-white photographic stills.
