Description
This lot comprises a diverse assortment of vintage marbles in various styles, colors, and sizes. Included are numerous standard-sized marbles and several larger shooter examples, such as a translucent amber-brown shooter. The collection features a wide range of patterns including cat’s eyes, swirls, solid opaques, speckled designs, and transparent examples. One specific opaque green marble is marked with a white number 6 or 9 within a circle. A significant feature of this lot is the presence of multiple marbles that exhibit a vivid green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, identifying them as uranium glass. The items are housed in a cardboard box which bears a yellow adhesive label marked 105. The marbles are constructed of glass.
