Description
A original embossed tin advertising sign and menu board for Squirt soda, dated 1959. The sign features a three-color lithographed design in red, yellow, and black. The top section is embossed with the Squirt logo in red script, the trademarked slogan never an after-thirst, and an illustration of the Squirt Boy mascot alongside a green glass Squirt bottle. The lower two-thirds of the sign consists of a black rectangular field intended for use as a chalkboard menu or for writing special prices. Printed text at the bottom left reads CAT. NO. M93B COPYRIGHT 1959, THE SQUIRT COMPANY. The bottom center edge is marked MADE IN U.S.A. The sign includes four pre-drilled holes in the corners for mounting. The reverse side shows the corresponding debossed patterns and a grey primer finish. Dimensions: Not provided.
