Description
A truck loader sand and gravel elevator manufactured by the Keystone Manufacturing Co. of Boston, Massachusetts. This toy is constructed from pressed steel and features a manual hand-crank mechanism. The crank, fitted with a turned-wood handle, drives a metal ladder-style chain carrying five black-painted buckets. These buckets travel up an inclined arm to a gravity-fed discharge chute and return underneath. The entire assembly is mounted on a black-painted rectangular base supported by four solid wheels. The main body and elevator arm are finished in an olive green paint. A keystone-shaped decal is located on one side of the main body, featuring a red border and a stylized letter K, identifying the manufacturer.
