Description
A lithographed advertising sign for Wirthmore Feeds, an agricultural brand originally based in New England. The sign features a bold graphic layout across three distinct color sections. The upper portion has a blue background with three slanted yellow rectangular blocks containing the words MEAT, MILK, and EGGS printed in red. Centered below these blocks is the word FOR in yellow script, followed by GOOD HEALTH in large, bold yellow block lettering. The bottom section of the sign consists of a red horizontal band featuring the brand name WIRTHMORE FEEDS in cream-colored block letters. The sign is constructed of lithographed metal, likely tin or steel, and is mounted within a simple black-painted metal frame. A production code, K-9-57-4301, is printed in blue text in the lower right corner, likely indicating a production date of September 1957. The reverse side of the sign is finished in black paint.
