Description
This toy vehicle features a pressed steel pickup truck with an attached camper unit. The truck is modeled after the Jeep Gladiator casting used by the manufacturer. The truck body and camper door are finished in tan paint, while the camper shell is painted white with a ribbed, corrugated texture. The camper unit is equipped with a functional swinging side door and clear plastic window inserts. The truck cab includes a clear plastic windshield. The vehicle rides on plastic hubs with black tires. The tire sidewalls feature embossed lettering that reads Tonka Toys. Remnants of oval white Tonka decals are visible on the cab doors, though they exhibit significant fading. The underside displays the metal axles and the interior of the pressed steel frame. A lot tag from Atlee Raber Auctions is attached to the underside.
