Description
This is a 1960s embossed tin advertising thermometer for Teem, a lemon-lime flavored soft drink brand introduced by Pepsi-Cola. The sign features a silhouette with a top section shaped like a citrus slice containing the brand logo in teal with a white outline on a yellow field. A registered trademark symbol is visible below the lettering. The main body displays a lithographed graphic of a green glass soda bottle with condensation and embossed branding. To the right of the bottle is a glass thermometer tube mounted over a vertical scale with teal markings ranging from -40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The lower portion of the sign includes the slogan Lemon and Lime teamed up just right on an orange ground. The reverse side shows the embossed indentation of the logo and the channel for the thermometer tube. Factory-drilled mounting holes are located at the top and bottom center.
