Description

A pair of collectible die-cast metal tractors produced to commemorate the annual Two-Cylinder Club Expo events held in Waterloo, Iowa. These 1/16 scale models are attributed to Ertl and are housed in their original pictorial boxes. The first model represents a John Deere Model A Hi-Crop Tractor, issued for the Two-Cylinder Expo X in 2000. This model replicates the specialized tall-crop tractor manufactured between 1950 and 1952, of which only 428 full-scale units were produced. The second model represents a John Deere Model 60 High-Seat Standard Tractor, issued for the Two-Cylinder Expo XI in 2001. This model replicates the machinery manufactured between 1955 and 1956, which featured a blend of standard and row-crop designs with a total production of 910 units. Both models feature authentic John Deere green and yellow livery and include historical narratives on the side panels of the packaging.
