Description
This toy is a Wyandotte Toys (All Metal Products Co.) Chieftain Lines construction dump truck. The vehicle is constructed of pressed steel and features a red cab with a yellow roof and chassis, supporting a large blue dump bed. The cab doors are decorated with yellow lithographed text reading WYANDOTTE CONSTRUCTION. Above the front grille, the manufacturer name WYANDOTTE is printed. The sides of the blue dump bed feature a winged logo decal typical of the Chieftain Lines series. The truck is built on a tandem axle rear configuration with a total of six black wheels with red centers. A manually operated dumping mechanism is controlled by a lever located on the driver side of the frame. The front grille assembly includes lithographed depictions of headlights and ventilation slats.
