Description
A large 1/8 scale collectible replica of a John Deere 1939 Model D tractor manufactured by Scale Models. The piece features a highly detailed sandcast metal body and engine finished in signature John Deere green with yellow accents and leaping deer decals. Mechanical features include steerable front wheels, a movable hand clutch, throttle and control levers, and a movable pulley. The tractor is equipped with yellow-painted spoke wheels fitted with black rubber tires. The main body casting includes raised text reading John Deere Tractor Co. Waterloo IA USA. The model is housed in its original open-front cardboard display box which includes technical illustrations and feature callouts on the reverse side.
