Description
This cast iron skillet was manufactured by the Griswold Manufacturing Company in Erie, Pennsylvania, as part of their Good Health value line. The size No. 3 skillet is constructed with two integral pour spouts and a tapered handle featuring a teardrop-shaped hanging hole. The underside of the vessel is marked with arched text reading Good Health at the top, Skillet in the center, a size indicator 3, and the Griswold pattern number 653 at the base. The piece was produced using sand-casting techniques and features a seasoned finish.
