Description
This is a single-sided metal advertising sign for Uniflo Motor Oil, a brand produced by Esso/Exxon. The sign is constructed from lithographed sheet metal and features a tri-color design. The upper portion contains the slogan For long engine life… in red block letters against a white background. On the left side, a graphic of a yellow Uniflo oil can is depicted with a blue ribbon seal that reads EXCEEDS WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS OF U.S. CAR MAKERS. The center and right sections feature a blue field with the word UNIFLO in large white capital letters above motor oil in lowercase white letters. A diagonal red banner across the bottom displays the phrase The all-weather oil in white text. A registered trademark symbol is visible near the brand name. The reverse side is unpainted and shows significant oxidation. 15 x 19.75 inches.
