Description
A collection of eight miniature porcelain enamel signs representing historic American railroads, presented in a professional black wooden shadowbox display. The set includes the heralds of the Chicago and Eastern Illinois (C&EI), Chicago and North Western System, Atlantic Coast Line, Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR), New York Central System, Santa Fe, Burlington Route, and Lackawanna Railroad. Each sign is constructed of porcelain enamel on metal with embossed lettering and multicolored graphics. The signs are mounted against a white fiber backing and protected by a glass front. Frame: 12.5 inches by 8.5 inches Individual signs: approximately 3 inches to 4 inches each.
