Description
This lot consists of two decorative wall hangings in the style of Mexican folk art, both constructed from painted sheet metal. The first item is a celestial sun motif featuring a central embossed human face with a serene expression, surrounded by a series of undulating rays. The rays are finished in a palette of yellow, orange, and green, accented with decorative cutouts and hand-painted floral and starburst designs. The second item is a stylized floral bloom featuring concentric layers of petals. The outer petals are yellow with orange gradients, followed by a layer of purple petals, and a center of white petals. The piece is finished with a central raised red dome and an outer circular green frame. An embossed mark reading MADE IN MEXICO is visible on one of the outer yellow petals of the floral piece.
