Description
This lot contains two vintage American-manufactured cast iron skillets. The smaller skillet is a Griswold No. 3, featuring the manufacturer’s small block logo. The base is marked with Griswold, Erie PA., the pattern number 724, the letter M, and NO. 3. The larger skillet is a No. 7 size with a 10 1/4 inch diameter. The base is marked with NO. 7 and 10 1/4 IN at the top and MADE IN USA at the bottom. The font and placement of these markings are consistent with production from the Lodge Manufacturing Company dating from the mid-20th century. Both skillets are constructed from heavy cast iron and feature integrated handles with teardrop hanging holes and dual pour spouts.
