Description
This collection includes four boxed tinplate replica vehicles produced by Schuco in Germany, along with a commemorative die-cast tractor-trailer. The Schuco items are high-quality reissues of classic designs and comprise a silver Studio Mercedes Grand Prix 1936 with racing number 7, a red Grand Prix Racer 1070 with racing number 3, a red Akustico 2002 convertible, and a red Examico 4001 featuring a multi-speed gearbox mechanism. Each car is constructed from lithographed tinplate and utilizes a clockwork wind-up motor. All four are housed in their original color-printed cardboard boxes, with several marked as replicas. The unboxed commemorative semi-truck features a silver cab and trailer with graphics for the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing and Kendall Motor Oil. The trailer displays the years 1975, 1985, and 1986 celebrating Don Garlits as an N.H.R.A. World Champion, along with his portrait and printed signature. The cab features a Rat City mouse graphic on the sleeper.
