Description
This set features the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Connoisseurs’ Collection limited edition series. The collection consists of die-cast metal vintage motor vehicles with plastic components, including a 1911 Ford T Tourer, 1909 Opel 4/8hp Coupe, 1910 Benz 14/30hp Landaulet, 1912 Packard Model 30 Landaulet, 1911 Daimler A12 Tourer, and a 1911 Maxwell GAR Roadster. Each vehicle is mounted above an individual brass-tone nameplate within a custom-fitted red flocked interior tray. The collection is housed in a polished wooden display case featuring a glass viewing window, brass-tone hinges, and a front lock. An interior brass plaque is inscribed MATCHBOX MODELS of YESTERYEAR CONNOISSEURS’ COLLECTION LIMITED EDITION. A separate small brass plaque located near the hinges identifies this as limited edition number C 1199.
