Description
This lot features two framed items related to transportation history. The first item is a framed print of George Stephenson’s Rocket steam locomotive and tender, bearing a signature in the lower right corner that reads Biedermann. The second piece is a custom-framed corporate display for the Tucker Corporation. It includes an original 1947 Class A Common stock certificate, serial number TACO 29891, issued for twenty shares to Clarice Augustine. The certificate features printed facsimile signatures for President Preston Tucker and Secretary H.A. Brown. Also included in the display is a color photograph of a black 1948 Tucker 48 sedan and a historical narrative plaque summarizing the company’s development and Preston Tucker’s innovations. Both items are presented in professional mats and wooden frames.
