Lot 523:
Description
This lot consists of an American farmhouse style work table and two matching chairs. The table is constructed from solid wood, likely pine or maple, featuring a rectangular plank top with a simple squared edge. It includes a single, wide drawer centered on one long side, fitted with a dark wood pull knob. The table is supported by four turned legs that transition from square upper sections to bulbous centers, followed by tapered square lower sections ending in small rounded feet. The two matching chairs are designed in a modified Windsor or rabbit ear style, with slanted backposts, a curved top rail, and vertical spindles. Each chair has a contoured solid wood seat and splayed legs reinforced with H-stretchers. No maker marks, labels, or stamps were found on any of the pieces during inspection.
