Lot 519:
Description
This Jim Beam collectible whiskey decanter is modeled after a 1917 Bulldog Mack Fire Engine. The main body of the vessel is constructed of painted ceramic, typically produced by Regal China, accented with plastic and metallic-finished components. The vehicle is finished in a bright red glaze with gold-toned graphics, including the text FIRE DEPARTMENT on the side panels and No. 2 on the cab and rear tank. Specific features include a detachable ladder mounted on the passenger side, five miniature black firefighter helmets on a side rack, a front-mounted gold-tone bell, and silver-tone fire extinguishers and nozzles on the rear platform. The top-mounted water monitor serves as the bottle stopper. A gold-toned rectangular label is affixed to the driver-side running board bearing the BEAM brand name and the text KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY.
