Description
This lot consists of two illuminated advertising signs for Blatz Beer, manufactured by the G. Heileman Brewing Co. during the early 1980s. The first sign features a clear acrylic panel construction with a central illuminated triangular graphic insert. The graphic displays a multi-colored stained-glass pattern with the red Blatz script logo and the text ESTABLISHED MILWAUKEE 1851. The main panel includes reverse-etched white lettering for BLATZ and the slogan You’re A Winner With BLATZ Quality. It is marked on the lower right ? ? 1983 G HEILEMAN BREWING CO. LA CROSSE, WISC. AND OTHER CITIES 8012044. The second sign is a curved wall sconce with a molded white plastic housing and a gold-tone metallic inner frame. The translucent plastic face features the brand name BLATZ in red block lettering above a stained-glass style triangular logo flanked by stylized hops and barley.
