Description
This vintage American cast iron deep fat fryer is manufactured by Griswold. The vessel features a deep cylindrical form with a long handle containing a teardrop-shaped hanging hole. The design incorporates an integrated pouring spout and an opposing small assist handle. A wire bail handle is attached to the rim. The underside of the pot is embossed with the curved text DEEP FAT FRYER at the top and the model number 1003 at the base. Centered on the bottom is the circular Griswold logo featuring a cross with the letters G, R, I, S, W, O, L, and D. The exterior of the piece displays a dark, seasoned finish.
