Description
This large-scale wildlife sculpture depicts a bald eagle in flight, banking over a stylized, pale blue and white cresting wave. The piece is constructed of hand-painted bisque porcelain with a matte, unglazed texture. The eagle features realistic anatomical detailing, including brown-toned plumage, a crisp white head and tail, and yellow coloration on the beak and talons. The porcelain wave base is signed in script lv. Gawanika. The sculpture is mounted on a circular, stepped wooden plinth with a dark mahogany-style finish. An auction lot sticker from Atlee Raber Auctions is present on the wooden base.
