Description
A pair of vintage cast iron Dutch ovens. The first vessel is a Griswold No. 6 Dutch oven, identified by the embossed markings on the base which include the large Griswold double-circle cross logo, the word ERIE, the pattern number 834, and the size numeral 6. This oven features a wire bail handle and a fitted lid with a rounded D-style handle. The second vessel is a Dutch oven equipped with a wire bail handle and a lid featuring an angular, faceted handle. The base of this pot is marked with the literal transcription 5 QT. DUTCH OVEN in a centered, sans-serif font. Both items are constructed of heavy-duty cast iron.
