Description
Antique Dilworth’s Prime Grade Coffee country store display bin. This piece, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, was produced for the Dilworth Brothers Co. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for bulk retail coffee storage and display. The bin features a solid wood frame with a slanted, hinged lid. The front panel consists of black-painted wood decorated with gold-toned stenciled lettering reading Dilworth’s Prime Grade Coffee and an ornate central coffee urn graphic. The side panels and the interior are lined with sheet metal, likely tin or galvanized steel. The lid is equipped with a white ceramic pull knob and an interior metal stay chain.
