The cover is finished in a white glaze with horizontal incised ribbing, while the base of the cover and the entire plate are decorated with a cobalt blue and white sponged or spatter-glaze pattern. The unglazed underside of the plate is hand-incised with the maker’s signature Becky Hall and dated 1982.
