This collection consists of approximately 34video game cartridges designed for the Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS). The assortment includes cartridges from a variety of manufacturers and publishers, including Atari, Sears Tele-Games, Activision, Coleco, Parker Brothers, Sega, and Fox Video Games. Each cartridge is constructed of molded black plastic with adhesive-backed printed paper or foil labels. The titles included in this collection are primarily published by Atari, featuring games such as Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Asteroids, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (two copies), Space Invaders, Missile Command, Combat, Yars’ Revenge, Video Pinball, Super Breakout, Breakout, Haunted House, Video Olympics, Warlords, Air-Sea Battle, Defender, Surround, Brain Games, Swordquest Fireworld, Poker Plus, Star Raiders, and Jungle Hunt. Third-party titles include Kaboom! by Activision, Donkey Kong Junior by Coleco, Frogger by Parker Brothers, Congo Bongo by Sega, and Porky’s by Fox Video Games. The collection features a Sears Tele-Games version of Berzerk, identified by model number 4975168, with copyright attributions to Stern Electronics, Inc. (1980) and Atari, Inc. (1982). One cartridge in the group has a handwritten label reading Kickback. Several cartridges include side labels marked Left Cartridge.
