Description
This lot consists of fifteenand antique hand tools, primarily featuring various designs of adjustable wrenches including monkey wrenches, pipe wrenches, and specialty automotive tools. The items are constructed from forged steel and iron, with five examples featuring integrated wooden handles. Several pieces bear distinct manufacturer marks and stamps identified during inspection. Notable markings include a monkey wrench stamped Pexto (Peck, Stow & Wilcox Co.) Made in U.S.A. and a pipe wrench marked Trimo and Trimont Mfg Co Roxbury Mass USA. A monkey wrench is stamped Girard Wrench Mfg Co Girard, PA U.S.A., while a unique adjustable wrench is marked Boss Tool Corp Pat. Pend. The collection also includes an adjustable S-wrench stamped Pearson and a specialty open-end tool marked 6 JOAR.
